Some knitting goes better with extended, uninterrupted stretches of quiet. This hat is that kind of knitting. I feel like I have the hang of the Philosopher's Wool style of two-handed Fair Isle knitting. I will not use this method every time for colorwork, but it is good for this hat, and I think I will like it for mittens and gloves.
This is also a very entertaining knit. I like watching as the llamas grow. Next up are their little heads and flowers. I think I want to use the Flourish and Spirals for the last two small charts. After that, it is time for the crown. This is not a quick knit, but I am making good progress. I would really like to have it finished by December 1.
