Hat's What I'm Talkin' About

I first fell for Hats On! because of the Triple-Patterned Watch Cap. I thought it would be a great hat for me, and it looked to be a challenge to knit. One day I should knit this for myself, but this one is for my nephew. Working the Twined Herringbone edge was new for me. The yarn became terribly twisted as I worked the one round (just like the directions said), but untwisted beautifully on the next. This is a fabulous hat, and it has nifty patterning on the body beneath the cuff, but it will always remain hidden. That's why I feel the need to show all of these pictures. I'm even brave enough today to show my floats.

Wow. I love seeing those floats, I can't get enough of them. Seriously now, how long did this take you Sarah?

Your hat is beautiful! I love how there is a secret pattern you never see.

  4. Thank you so much! I've really enjoyed doing this colorwork. As for how long it took me on this hat...about 3 days. It was all I worked on then.

  5. I love "Hats On!" I just finished the Danish Earflap hat ... but it wound up a tad on the small side, so I'll be making it again.

Yours is beautiful, and seeing how well it turned out just bumped it up my "must knit" list. Great work.
